If Jesus was to physically walk into to this assembly right now and say something directly to you, what do you think He would say?

I know what he might say:

With a twinkle in His eye, Jesus might say this:

I. Introduction.

1 Cor 15:54-57.

Now Folks, I am not going to try and sneak up on you today.

No sir! I am going to come right out and tell you what you need to know and what you need to do:

Purpose Statement: Victory! That’s what you need! Every one! You’ve got to get it and you’ve got to keep it to the rapture!!!!

1 Corinthians 15:54–57 KJV 1900

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hallelujay!!!!

Whenever I have read this passage, my general take away has always been this:

“Death is not the end for you and me!!! Jesus has conquered death, hell and the grave!”

And because He lives, we shall live also!!!!

Listen friend, no matter what you are facing right now, and regardless of the limitations of the flesh, regadless of the limits placed on you by this old world, very soon, you’re gonna be free!

Those restraints cannot hold you much longer!

There is coming a day!!!!!

It cannot be far!!!!

The Trumpet is going to sound!

The dead in Christ shall rise!

In a moment, all the worries and fears, all the barriers that you haver ever faced, will be gone!!!!!

The suffering of loss: Gone!

The torment of past abuse and old wounds will be gone!!!!!

If you’ve ever had chronic pain, that will all be gone!

The effects from the stroke? All gone!

If you’ve ever suffered from migraines, that will be gone!

All doubt will be removed!

Shame, regret and weakness: Gone!

You’re getting a new body!!!!!

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye!!!

I’ve read this passage many times and thought “Well that is wonderful!” And kinda passed on.

But then I recall how that Scripture interprets Scripture!

LIke a powerful tree, there are connections to less obvious components: The roots that reach deep, sourcing strength and foundation from dark, loamy earth.

How amazing that within such a small acorn, lives the promise and the genetic blueprint for some noble oak that will tower one day, far higher than a building or a home!

Always, the seed comes first!

Or in this case, prophecy!

The NT story is not fully examined without connection to the OT seeds!

But first, I need to tell you about Malik Brown.

For better or for worse, each gave something unique! It was theirs to give.

Azim Premji, is a wealthy Indian Businesman, has thus far given $21 Billion to help other people!

I could not have done that! I mean, I am good for a cheesburger and a talk. You can count on that!

Not so Mr.Premji! He gives millions because he has it to give.

And when you have something that you have sacrificed and fought to earn, you can give it to anybody you want to!

1 Chr 29:11!

So, that awesome text we just read? It has a seed!

Old Testament seeds...

1 Chronicles 29:11 KJV 1900

Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Jesus has Power.

Jesus has glory.

He has majesty.

And Jesus has the Victory!!!!!!

Yes!!!

Victory belongs to Jesus!

And guess what? He can give victory to you!

He aims to do just that!!!

Somebody is going to walk out of this church today with fresh hope and fresh joy and fresh anointing!!!!

He’s going to bless you and to anyone else who will take it and value it and fight to keep it!

And so I have a question for you today:

I need you all to give me an answer and shout it out loud:

Where/Who do you go When you need victory???????

Jesus!!!!

Yes! Say His Name!!!!!

“I Need Jesus!!!!”

I go to The Rock of my salvation I go to the stone that the builders rejected!

I tell you it is no accident that 1 cor 15:54-57 is part of that Bible book!!!!!

God put it in the book for them and for you and me!

And it’s not there on accident!

There are Old Testament seeds!!!!!

Hosea 13:14 (KJV 1900)

I will ransom them from the power of the grave;

I will redeem them from death:

O death, I will be thy plagues;

O grave, I will be thy destruction!!!!

1 Chronicles 29:11 (KJV 1900)

Victory! Jesus had it in the OT, He has it in the NT and since he has it, he can give it to whoever he wants!

"What's Mine Is Yours!"

You know, the older I get, the more I realize: You just can’t afford to live without victory!!!!

I mean, it’s just no fun!

If you’re juggling shame and weariness and carnal weight around all day, I’ts like walking with iron weights fastened to you!!!!

You will never be able to perform the way God built you, until you let the dead weight fall off in victory!!!!!!

How then: How do I get the victory?

Pastor, I’m a practical person, give me some “how to” here!

You bet!

Pray into the presence of God!!!!!

Plug into the source!!!!

Did you know they sell blenders for $574?

If you can afford that, then all power to you, but now listen: No blender is gonna blend without power!

Your waffle maker is a paperweight until you plug it in!!!

If you really want things to work they way they should, you need to:

Connect to the power source!!!!

“I Am the vine” said he...

John 15:5 KJV 1900

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Say what? You need some power?

Well, go on and plug in!!!!

You’ve gotta pray! And when you pray, pray thorugh the boundaries and limitations imposed by the flesh and the enemy!

Find that quite place alone with God :

‘I’ve come fro a fresh dose Lord Jesus!”

“I’m not getting off my knees until I have the victory!!!!!

Blast through! Pray through into the white!

That free zone where anything is possible and every threat is eclipsed by the glory and majesty of Jesus Christ!

He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world!!!!

He has the victory!

Make sure you go and get it from Him!

Get that victory and make the choice:

I will hold onto my victory right up to the rapture!!!!!

You oughtta purpose in your heart: “I refuse to trade my victory and my anointing for anything!”

I am going to keep it till the rapture!!!

Sound like a challenge? Sure! But remember who’s on your side!!!!

Jesus is going to help you get through!

I have never made it across a single parking lot without hitting a pot hole at least a few speedbumps!

And you will not make it throught life with obstacles! Every day, things stand in your way!

Circumstances and situtations that want to slow you down and get between you and victory.

But that does not change who you are!

You are a child of the King!!!!

Now when the obstacles come at you, and maybe you even lose your grip on Holy Joy and victory, that’s OK!!!!

It’s OK!!!!! We are not perfect! But Jesus is perfect! And He will help you get a grip once more!!!!!

If you were riding a roller coaster at Vallejo six flags, The Kong or the Cobra, and suddenly the safety restraints went slack, just how hard would you hold on to that ride?

That’s how you gotta hold on to victory!!!!!

Get a death grip on victory!!!!!

Tell yourself: Jesus spent his blood and agony to give me this! And I’m gonna hold on with everything I’ve got!!!!!!

I will not let go!

Come what may, I’m gonna get my victory from Jesus and I’m gonna hold on until Jesus calls me home!!!!!

II. Conclusion

Let me share something wtih you that Bro Clyde shared with me, that Bro Stino shared with him!

It’s absolutely awesome!

And It’s key for you keep the victory till the rapture!!!!!

If you can do just do this, I promise you are going to walk on streets of Gold!

You will worship in thronged multitude around the throne of God forever and forever!!!!

Are you ready? Here it is:

Maintain the flow of the Holy Spirit into your life like water into a glass.

You are the vessel, He is the flow!

The glass is set beneath the open faucet and the water is constantly flowing over!

Your Christian life and ministry, should be the overflow of your relationship with God!

If the glass is not aligned with the flow, your level drops! And anything you give lessens you until there is nothing left!

But if you stay under the flow, there is always a fresh supply of Holy Life, of peace joy and VICTORY!!!!

If someone is sick, if there is some need, you pray for them right there!!!!!

If you are always full, there will always be an overflow!!!!

Now you take a glass with murky water.

Something has affected the clarity and the purity, well if you just keep the vessel beneath the flow, the pure flow will soon flush out everything that is not clean and fresh and right!!!

Brothers and Sisters!

Align yourself today, fresh and anew!!!!

I’m opening this altar right now!!!!

If you want a fresh dose of victory,

He’s fixing to open the windows of heaven!!!!!!!
